I. 5 lines or less, no end line rhymes, describe something.
Where once were ten or so small lilies
Was infiltrated by sapling oaks
Who grew nine feet overnight, forming
a stubborn twig-wall, who choked out the
Lesser Flora, blocking the view from the cul-de-sac
II. Same rules as before except with focus on
Alliteration/Assonance
Crowded, soaked in strangers' sweat, swallowing
Eagerly from communal canteens, immersing us
Entirely in rhythm --suffocating
On thickened oxygen. The lyrics slip out like secrets.
We were in love more than ever while waiting on the encore.
I am ready for prosity.
